I am never alone wherever I am. The air itself supplies me with a century of love. When I breathe in, I am breathing in the laughter, tears, victories, passions, thoughts, memories, existence, joys, moments, and the hues of the sunlight on many tones of skin; I am breathing in the same air that was exhaled by many before me. The air that bore them life. And so how can I ever say that I am alone?

Ocean Breath Yoga
STUDIO and School

Celebrates your You-niqueness
All levels welcome.

Yoga was intended to be open and accessible to all, no matter your age, body type, belief system or past and present injury. But sometimes it can feel exclusionary - unattainable to those with normal bodies and all that means.

  • If you can breathe - you can do yoga. The poses are one piece of an 8 limb practice that can guide you to a balanced existence.
  • If you are willing to be open to the possibility that you can let go of limiting beliefs and allow that everything is possible in the present moment - you can do yoga.
  • If you know that working every day and completing all your lists is only a small part of what  life is about - you can do yoga.
  • Whatever the reason.....guess what? - you can do yoga.

Whether you are in Vancouver or farther afield, younger or older, male or female, need to sit in a chair or lie on the floor, have been practicing for years or have no idea what "practice" is, join us and STOP rushing past your life. Instead, take a step towards living fully in each moment of your life, free of stress, aches, weakening bodies and a disconnect to what really matters to you.

winter is not the ending, it is the beginning

Winter has wound her fingers gently into the earth helping to ground us as the light slowly returns. Another cycle slowly beginning. We have started to nurture the seeds we are planting placing each one with care, knowing that as we build our internal fires and feed our seeds roots will start to take anchor. Create a practice and a life that allows the seeds to grow. For you it may be a healthier body, or more strength, or a peaceful mind. Whatever it is make it yours.
Now is the only time that exists and waiting for a "better" moment is saying no to this moment.

For more personalized attention speak with Beverly about setting time for private lessons. This is her strength, seeing each individual and understanding what will best serve your need.
